Approaching Summer Convention Season!

We have quite a few opportunities coming up for you to check out Steamscapes, whether you are at the big summer conventions or just around the Chicago area. Not only do we have a regular set of demo sessions at Gen Con and Chicago Gameday, but we even have a Steamscapes LARP premiering this summer at Origins and Gen Con! Here's the full list, with links to information where appropriate:

Origins 2014

Saturday, June 14th (8:00pm - 12:00am): "In High Gear," a LARP by Figments of Your Imagination - FYI is a friend of the Steamscapes family, particularly including our wonderful indexer, Shari MacGregor. They run excellent and engaging LARPs, and we are greatly looking forward to what they do with the Steamscapes world!

ENWorld Chicago Gameday 38

Saturday, June 14th (9:20am - 1:30pm): "Into The Wilds" - If you are not planning to travel to Origins this year and live in the Chicago Area, come check us out at the June Chicago Gameday. This session will be run as a preview of the Gen Con event of the same name (see below).

Gen Con 2014

Thursday, August 14th (10:00am - 12:00pm): "Automatic Murder" - We are offering this again in case you have not had a chance to play this scenario from the North America book.

Thursday, August 14th (1:00pm - 3:00pm): "Rivalry" - Chapter 1 of the episodic Rivalry storyline. A great introduction for new players!

Thursday, August 14th (3:00pm - 5:00pm): "Automatic Murder" - as above

Friday, August 15th (10:00am - 12:00pm): "Rivalry" - as above

Friday, August 15th (8:00pm - 12:00pm): "In High Gear" - A LARP by Figments of Your Imagination

Saturday, August 16th (7:00pm - 11:00pm?): "Into the Wilds" - The continuation of the Rivalry storyline as far as the players want to take it! This is our unofficial Savage Saturday Night event, and we would love to bring in some dedicated Savages to try out Steamscapes.

Sunday, August 17th (10:00am - 11:00am):  "RPG Business Sense"  - In addition to running games, I will personally be appearing on the panel for this seminar run by the Indie Game Developer Network and organized by Vickey Beaver of Obatron Productions, fellow Savage licensee and makers of Tunse'al. I hope to be the eager learner on the panel, although I am also happy to offer my many mistakes as lessons for new writers and publishers.

As always, keep an eye here or on our Facebook page for current updates!
